Sample Itinerary
Day 1 -3: Kigali & Volcanoes National Park
Meet the Gorillas -On arrival in Kigali you will be met and driven out of the capital on a meandering road towards Volcanoes National Park and your private home -the stunning Kataza House.
Either side of your trek, enjoy a little indulgence in your villa’s very own wine cellar, massage room, cinema and a farm-to-table food journey that celebrates Rwandese cuisine. You’ll also have time to visit a village to learn about local life and to find out about Singita’s work to reforest the volcano slopes and extend the gorillas’ home range.
Day 4 -6: Murchison National Park
Set on the southern bank of the mighty Nile Safari. Take a charter flight to Murchison Falls National Park, on arrival transfer to your exclusive bush camp.
Begin your next day on a morning game drive along the savannah and Borassus palm forest and Grassland down to Lake Albert where the Nile heads North. You will encounter various mammals including Buffaloes, Jackson’s Hartebeests, Antelope, Lions, Kobs, Giraffes, Warthogs among others. Take a boat cruise along the Nile river to the base of Murchison falls where you will experience the thundering waterfall up close and take a hike to the top of the falls.
Enjoy your stay at the exclusive Murchison Bush Camp exclusively erected for the duration of your group’s stay with eco-friendly flushing toilets and bush showers. Meals are freshly prepared by experienced safari chefs and include sundowner aperitifs and picnics when the itinerary requires.
